Departure for Peace Corps staging in Philadelphia: June 8th.
The first three months of service I will be training in Lusaka. My project is RED: Rural Education Development. If all goes well, I will be teaching English part-time in a rural area of Zambia for two years, but the details are a fat "TBD" at this point. I have some idea of my living arrangement and cultural expectations, but the rest will unfold as I delve into it more and more. I plan on writing as much as I can in journals which I will eventually compile here on this site. I might even manage to put up a few photos.
